Isaac Newton, Pattern Co-founder
“Within a matter of weeks, we landed on messaging that helped with the relaunch of our new collateral (website, proposals, case studies, etc.). Becca made what seemed like a daunting exercise fun as we further honed in on crafting the voice for our business. She has also made herself easily accessible for ongoing guidance as we launched new case studies and content.
On several occasions, we have received praise from both partners and prospects about our messaging. Consider yourself lucky if you have the opportunity to collaborate with her on a project.”

The Challenge
Pattern spent so much time building brands for their clients that they had little time to devote to building their own. With clear convictions about the agency they wanted to become and a steady stream of impressive clients, Pattern hoped to use content to achieve two goals:
1) To attract top designers, strategists, and project managers to join their growing team, and
2) To celebrate their clients while attracting new ones. -
Our Work Together
Through a series of discovery interviews and working sessions, we built a verbal brand guide, including value propositions, audiences, and pages of creative writing in the Pattern voice. We then refined the language to choose the ideal words for the Pattern website, including client- and candidate-facing content. Fast forward one year and lots of growth for Pattern, and it was time to add more content and expand their LinkedIn presence. This time we decided that team spotlights were the ideal way to celebrate their current team while attracting others to join them. Ongoing work includes project case studies, blog posts, and occasional editing.

The Impact
Our series of team profiles generated interest on LinkedIn and served as a valuable recruiting tool during a busy time for the company. Clients and partners alike often comment on Pattern’s unique voice on their website and across social media.
